These receiver also act like a Remote Switch,due to that receiver built a two steps shutter button. half press for focus, fully press for shutter. you shift the Mode Dial to L mode. The reciever will lock the shutter for long exposure(Bulb Mode). If you shift the Mode Dial to W. the receiver is active, you can use the transmitter to control the shutter or focus. if you shift the Mode Dial to O. the receiver will be a normal remote switch.the receiver will not consume any power.
